Slow Food Kansas City Meetup at EJ’s Urban Eatery!!!

Celebrate the opening of Kansas City’s first meat-and-three restaurant, EJ’s Urban Eatery, by joining us for a meet-up on Saturday, September 30! We’ll gather at 1:00 p.m. It’s a fun way to meet fellow Slow Food Kansas City members and enthusiasts, while also supporting a new gem in Kansas City’s food scene.

This is a free event. Simply pay for your own lunch. Please email Jasper at [email protected] to let us know you’re coming — just so we can let the restaurant know how many of us to expect.

What’s a “meat-and-three?” It’s a style of restaurant popular in the South where you get to make your own meal by choosing a meat, then up to three side dishes. EJ’s has that core — and more — thanks to modern chef-driven twists by John Smith, who brings his experience in steakhouses and gastropubs to the menu.
